Indication
In Hypertension (high blood pressure), Angina (heart-related chest pain), Arrhythmia, heart attack.
Mode of Action

METOPROLOL SUCCINATE
Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that works by selectively blocking beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart, reducing the effects of adrenaline. This action decreases heart rate and the force of heart contractions, leading to lower cardiac output and blood pressure. -
AMLODIPINE
Belongs to a class of drug called as Calcium channel blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure or to prevent angina. It decreases the blood pressure and reduces the workload of the heart by blocking the calcium channels present in heart or blood vessel which results into reduced cardiac contraction & reduced vasoconstriction, which helps in preventing heart attacks and strokes.
